Dear wine lovers,
You`ll find Bissersheim in the Northern part of theMittelhaardt, in the former territory of the Earls of Leiningen. My winery is situated on the south border of this quaint wine village, comprises 12 hectare with 50% red and 50% white wines.Since the beginning of the 70ies,
I am producing Dornfelder Rotwein my personal passion.
The situation „Bissersheimer Goldberg“, where my Dornfelder vines are growing, offers ideal terms due to the mild climate and the limy ground for this sort of vine.There are only two situations in the Palatinate, which correlate to this character of climate and soil Further sorts of red wine in my winery are the „Spätburgunder“ (Pinot Noir) and the „Portugieser“, partially developed and completed as „Weissherbst“, apart from „Merlot“ and „Cabernet Sauvignon“, which I have been working with lately.
A further focus of my range is lying on noble sweet specialities of highest quality (Auslese, Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese - wines made from the choicest grapes, harvested in different stadiums of ripeness) as well as ice wines - perfectly suitable as a starter and/or a dessert companion.

About the accommodation
My lately styled apartment offers (nearly) everything what you need during your vacation.
A complete kitchen, the living room is fair, generous and comfortable. The fireplace stove even turns a rainy and windy day into a cosy holiday event.
The beds have new mattresses, the cupboards are very big, so you can bring all your stuff you do not want to leave at home. On your arrival the beds have clean sheets, towels and tea towels are at your disposal and the cool wine is waiting for you just a few steps across the yard. During summer the sun tickles and wakes you up, during winter time the fireplace stove even turns a rainy and windy day into a cosy holiday event. Just come in and feel comfortable!
Spoil yourself in country-styled wine bars or elegant restaurants alongside the „Palatinate Wine Route“.
Explore Speyer, Worms, Mannheim and Heidelberg, which can be easily hit
starting here. Go hiking through in the vineyards or the palatinate forest and recompense
yourself with a pungent tea. Or you just stay at home and make some comfortable wine tasting in my winery!

Regarding costs:
The price (55 - 75 EUR) depends on the number of your overnight stays.
Up to 3 nights, 75 EUR,
up to 14 nights, 65 EUR and from
15 nights onwards 55 EUR.
Price is always per overnight stay.V

Highway A6 > exit Grünstadt > Bad Dürkheim/Kirchheim > at the cross turn left to Großkarlbach/Bissersheim > ca. 2oo metres after enter the village turn right into Freinsheimer Weg > it’s the last house at the left side. WELCOME
